All I can say is congrats to who ever does win. I hope I can be included in the drawing, would be a sweet, sweet system. I went to a website ,forgot which one, but you can configure a new build using this board. I stopped when it went past $10,000.00 so who ever does win, please consider yourself very fortunate.

Good luck all.

Well not really, your video card would be a bottleneck, but for him he has a 8800GTS G92, and he is only getting around 7000 with his Pentium D. If he would upgrade to the Core 2 Extreme processors he would be getting around 14000.

My entire system is a bottle neck =P...I wouldn't disgrace a 8800 GTS with my single core 3.2 prescott =P. I was speaking in regards to the beast system though =P, but it would be higher than 14,000 =P.

Lol..I wonder what time he'll be announcing though. Cause my sleeping schedule is extremely jacked up. I woke up at 10:40 pm today...Yes, that's right, 10:40 pm. I'm going to be going to sleep at around 12-1 pm >_<. I had trouble sleeping on friday...It was around 10-11am I was trying to sleep..I kept on thinking about the drawing and the rig. I finall fell asleep after 2 hours of tossing and turning, woke up at around 8 pm to see no e-mail in my box =(..Than read the thread and saw the post regarding the announcement on monday...God...when I try to sleep monday morning(around 12 pm probably), I'm gonna have an anxiety attack while thinking about this rig...lol..=P

My biggest fear is this (lol) : I come here to check out the winner on monday and I find out that I did not win. Now that would suck, but at least somebody here would be very happy and that's the main thing. :)

I just hope this contest ends soon...lol..This aint healthy! rofl. But I really don't care who wins as long as the person ends up sticking around, I don't mind =P. So whoever wins, grats =D...And as I stated before, please do game it up for us...But damn..It would be nice to win this sucker =D..With all my workstation uses..it'd be a complete dream compared to this 3.2 prescott..rofl. I can't even 3d model, run after effects, or run the video processing via AVIsynth that I need in a workable state since their is a lack of power =(...I make due though...it's no worries. But jeez...eight tasty cores ::druels:: lol.. . But yea, grats to whoever wins, just one more day and we can all sleep easier...lol >_<.

Wow, people are pretty excited at the prospect of winning this system, opened my email upon awakening this afternoon and all responses to the thread pretty much for a couple pages, must admit I am just a little bit.

Especially since my system is a hardware generation or two behind the curve, been on disability for 6-7 years now, got into comps about that time, first was a dx486, with a whopping 16mb ram and a monster 800mb hd and Windows 3.11. Essentially bypassed the 95, 98 and ME OS's, bought a prebuilt amd 2000+ XP rig when got the disability arrears, various components starting failing just after the warranty expired.

Since the windfall had long been consumed by past due bills, child support and all, could not afford to take it in so bit the bullet and embarked on repairing, replacing, upgrading myself. Which has been good thing, would not buy an off the shelf again, plus have been able to help out friends and friends of friends with their comps.Google and forums such as Hothardwares have been a major help along the way, never really posted much in forums, usually find the answer by scanning over prior postings, and help I felt comfortable about offering most usually beat to the proverbial punch haha.

Have always been behind the latest and greatest and now to get on the current wave means a new mb, ram, cpu, all at once..way too much man lol. So the prospect of winning the Beast and being on the bleeding edge for once would be pretty darn nifty indeed.

Been thinking how cool it would to peel off a cpu and one of the gpu's for my younger son who uses his for home recording studio apps and Morrowind and Oblivion gaming...and passing his upgrade a sock 939 4400+, Epox 9NDA3 + and HIS x1950Pro turbo agp to my older he just uses his for mundane tasks and multi-media so would be quite happy considering he is still 2800 Barton, FX5600 haha.

Would have to do the Ramen Noodle diet for several weeks to snag a MB, Memory and a PSU for the younger lads surprise, but well the looks on their faces and the oohs and aahs when they fire things up and see the difference. Well worth it. No offence to Ramen Noodle Lovers, but have had more ramen out of necessity than I care to recall lol.

Uh oh, have not been losing sleep over the prospect of winning, nor even thinking about it all that much, having articulated the full scenario just may tonight though!!!!

Ah well, been collecting reviews/benchmarking links this afternoon to read up on the Skulltrail platform, gonna save em for later incase the now swelling hope and anticipation keeps me awake lol.

Here are some for those here cursed to stalk the dawn this Drawing's Eve, to pass the wee hours with rather than channel surfing through infomecials lol. (Hothardware's top of the list of course)

Good Luck EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not worried "If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all", last time I won some thing it was KP duty in the Army for decking an upstart seargent for grabbing a female soldiers gazongas.  An really that wasn't a win I earned that KP.  Now the prize I got from from the woman that's another matter. Cool
