Hi All,
Wow! It's the stuff dreams are made of. 3 GeForce 8800 Ultra cards in tandem! You've got to have some very deep pockets to buy, not to mention run a Setup like that. Very good review, you Guys have placed facts of Performance & the Cost Running a Rig like that for all to see. Not for the faint of Heart or Wallet. My mind Boggled when I saw the Power draw. 806 Watts, that's just staggering. All I can say is if you can afford to Buy & Run a Rig like that you are truly Blessed.

3 ultras couldn't break 16,000 on 3Dmark 06... bunk! I'd be willing to bet that the D9E will break 16k easy... and all that power in a single card vs. a cumbersome, power guzzling 3 card set-up.
For people who use Benjis to wipe their butts it may be an option... for the rest of us however it is but a dream!!!
I can't even imagine having standard SLI...yes I'm not willing to dish out the funds, maybe when I'm done with college, but by then we will probably be running rigs with multiple gpus on one card.
I feel you! I've got to believe that 3 way SLI won't be a big seller, at least not the high end Graphics cards. Maybe with the Boutique Custom OEM's 3 way SLI will be big.
a tad overkill but what ever, i think a few might have it. im still waiting for the 9000 series cards to come out... :(
