Well i finally got my digial camera out, and ill hit two birds with one stone i guess.  Here is me sporting the HH Tee, and my new car.  My car is a 1999 Mercury Gran Marquis LS, with a 200hp 4.6L V8 engine that gets 25mpg.  Pretty good for a car with an empty weight of 3900lbs.  The pics is just after i finished washing it.

Nice ride, Drago. I got a '98 with the 215hp motor. My Dad gave it to me a couple of years ago when he bought a new Buick. The Buick dealer only wanted to give Dad $700 for his Grand Marquis as a trade-in, so Dad gave it to me instead. My combined city/highway mileage is a dismal 15.3 mpg. Can't burn regular, either, or it pings a lot. Bad thing about that 4.6L is the plastic intake manifold that Ford installed. Eventually they crack and leak coolant all-over the place. So many have failed that Ford lost a class-action lawsuit and now warranties the manifold for 7 years from the date of purchase. My manifold recently cracked and the dealer wants $1000 to replace it. He can eat my shorts! I purchased a replacement manifold for $229 and will be using THIS article to help me replace it. Sure hope yours has already been replaced!

No, after I started to post on this one I noticed it was dated way back in in 2007.

So I guess I should read them all the way through before yapping my yap. (or is that rapping?)

Truly, I don't always understand everything you guys talk about in these threads either. My technical knowledge is lacking on allot of these subjects. I've never cooled a CPU with other than air for one thing, and this system is Water Cooled! It looks cool in the pictures. (no pun intended) I've only managed a reliable RAID setup once. When the discussion goes to CPU design and Chip Set capabilities, I'm lost and have to go read up on what you're talking about to try and find something new to say! I'm not totally out of it though, After my stint in the Vietnam era Army, I was lucky enough to land a job with Rockwell International working on the Space Shuttle fleet. I retired from there with Boeing after they bought the company. I was privy to allot of tech developments as they happened and I couldn't have had a more interesting and important job anywhere else as far as I can see.

Because of retired guy money constraints I usually have to buy the very least expensive parts out there. Or I have to wait until they are far from being the newest thing before I can get them. So this system that's up for grabs is like a pinnacle to me.

I feel compelled to comment besides all of these factors because there is a contest going on after all. So,........I'm trying my best not to sound too out of touch or downright stupid while continually spouting off!

This time I threw in for a Tee shirt before I knew the date of the post,............sigh!
