You don't have to wiat  look at some of the Black Friday ads.  A lot of them can be found online already.  Here is one website that has some posted.

http://bfads.net

Currently they have these stores ads up

Best Buy
Circuit City
Staples
Target
Radio Shack
Sears
and more......

This is the first time that I have looked at the ads early, and they probably don't have all the deals that will be out on Sunday, but it doesn't hurt to browse early.

Please post any good deals that you find.  Here are a couple that I have found so far

How come you can't get it?

I would go for the Compaq.  Its $300 at Circuit City, and $350 at Staples.

Be wary of some of the Circuit City deals.  Some of the discounts are partly from mail-in-rebates.  Imo you shouldn't even take mail-in-rebates into consideration when figuring out the best price, since they never give you the money.

Some of Stapel's deals are with easy (online) rebates, but I have done several through them and never had a problem.  Last BF it did take about a month to get my money back though.

Sounds like you've had bad luck because I've done many rebates from many different stores on and offline and never once had a problem!

Perhaps -- the only way I could get this notebook that I want is if #1) I hid one for myself and risked my job or #2)Skipped work to stand in line outside risking my job and health Wink #3) Pay someone to get me one.

I know how many we have, where they are etc...but see there are only about 5 and needless to say they are about 1/2 off so I doubt there will be any when I get off my shift at 8PM

I decided I wasn't going out and fighting the crowd this year and I really wanted that 50" Samsung DLP tv at Circuit City for $799 (regular $1699). I discussed it with my wife and she said if I could order it online for that price we would get it. I got up at 5am and started trying to order it. It kept telling me they had none available. I tried a few times before giving up and heading back to bed. Around 8:30am my wife decides that she is going to give it a shot. I hop out of bed and tell her I didn't get it and there was no shot at getting it and she yells "I GOT IT!!!"

Talk about luck!!! I knew I picked a winner when I found her!!!

What about all of you guys, did you pick up any good stuff?

Dam Enter, didn't you already have a big ass HD TV.  Wheres the old one going? How much was the shipping on that thing?

I got

Sony 5.1 500W receiver for $99 at BB.com (free shipping)

Sony 200W sub $99 at BB.com (free shipping)

Sony 5 1/2 bookshelf  speaker pair $25 + $10 shipping at BB.com

585VA Cyberhome UPS $30 at Staples

Husky 3 pack 9 LED mini flashlights $5 home depot

This is my second time going to Home Depot on bf, and there is always good deals on tools, drill bit, and flash light.  The cool thing is it not busy like the other ones in the morning. So I usually make that my last stop.  The Husky flashlights are really neat, and make good little gifts.

Thought this was interesting, CoolerMaster Gemini2 from NewEgg free after Mail in Rebate. I got it on auto notify as they're out right now. I bought some DVDs online, Nothing impressed me much deal wise this year.

Yeah, its a 46" Samsung DLP (HKP4663w). It's going in our bedroom with my 2cd 360 as a console/dvd player. She won't let me put surround sound in.... oh well.

This whole thing started when we both agreed that we needed a nice 32" LCD tv for our bedroom. I stumbled across this deal and it was just too good to pass up man. $900 off of a DLP isn't something you find everyday. It's crazy to see all of the features they upgraded over the years from mine as well.

Also, shipping was only $54 and it should be here by next Wed or Thursday. Not bad at all....other than I've been treating her like a queen all day!!!

I saw the Gemini2.  Newegg also had some other good deals like the Antec 900 for I think $54 after rebate.

I thought that there were lots of good deals this year.

Enter, $50 for sipping that size TV doesn't seem bad at all.  Especially considering what you probably would have had to go through if you hadn't ordered online.

I just can't figure out how she actually got it -- did they do an online update of their inventory just as she hit "refresh" or what???

Lol, if only I had that problem -- "well I have a 46" and a 50" tv .... but the room just doesn't FLOW right with the 46" here... hmm what to do?" haha

a lot of places didn't allow people to buy Black Friday items until a certain time.  Like Best Buy had theres up Thursday night, and a lot of others did it at 12:01am Friday.  Maybe it was something like that.  We'll probably never know, until possibly next year.

I have no idea either, but it's on the way! We got one and her grandmother got two (one for herself and one for my wife's father).

It's not that we needed another TV, i just couldn't pass up a deal like that.
