Hello,

The problem I have is when on the internet after several hours my connection seems to stop.  I am using latest mozilla browser.  Windows XP updated to current. Cable modem.   Using Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 PCE Gigabit Ethernet Controller and updated. Virus checked with AVG free and Avira Free and found nothing. Checked with Spybot-Search and Destroy and found nothing.

When the connection stops I get that grey web page with the notice box "cannot find (whatever site I try to look up).  Check with the person managing your network. Etc...Etc.."  Well that person is me and I'm not much help!

Using ZoneAlarm free as firewall.

When i restart comp everything seems to work again but I seem to have the same problem hours later (like 6 or 7).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Your pretty in the clear for viruses (i think), But have you tried unplugging your phone cable from the phone socket and leaving it a few minutes for the connection to reset and then tried it again? Or it could be something to do with your ISP.

Personally i wouldn't use ZoneAlarm, Basically because i had loads of problems with it when i did have it. Well i still have it but it is not in action :)

Again... you're responding to 2+ year old problems.  These people with the issues probably don't even own the same computer anymore.

I'm going to be very surprised if the flyinghawk account does not post an instructional message about how to use for-money software to rip DVDs soon.
