 Hi

I would like to upgrade the hard drive for my old laptop (Compaq Armada 110) but I am not sure it is going to fit, and that the motherboard supports it.
I was thinking of getting this (well, now it’s gone):

Ebay Drive

Would that have been ok? I know that my laptop supports Ultra ATA-5, and therefore the drive would have been compatible form that point of view, but I am still not 100% sure about the physical connection (is related to the ATA specifications?).

I placed the manual for the laptop here for convenience:

http://www.polarhome.com:753/~adrianog/CompaqArmada/CompaqArmada110.pdf

To note that it is stated in the manual that the possible drives are 10, 15,20 gigs: I am not sure if that is dictating the maximum supported size, or if it is just the list of standard replacement drives from Compaq (in which case I can in fact mount a larger drive, as I wish, an 80 gig one)

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

The interface is standard as are the dimensions. Also your motherboard should recognize an 80GB drive.
