    Strange sound from PC.....!!!!!

    I'm not expert in windows or hardware system. Few months I'm facing a strange sound from my PC. It could be the CPU/CPU Fan/Graphic Card. These sound only comes when I try to play any kind of games or watch any kind of movie files. Looks like my CPU and Graphic Card get so hot when I play games or watch any movie.

    My PC configuration is ... CPU 3G, Graphic GForce 5500 256 RAM, RAM 1.5G, WinXP Home

    I don't know how to solve this problem. I tried to re-install the OS, but still the same. Where could be the problem? Is my Graphic Card getting weaker or my CPU? Do I need to change CPU Fan?

    My Graphic Card is just 5 months old and my CPU 1.5 Years.

    Can anyone help me ...PleaseText

    It might be a fan, what type of sound is it? ie does it come from your speakers of is it from the case? It sounds like its a fan issue.

    It is not from the speaker. You maybe right, the sound could come from the FAN or the Processor. But I have already cleaned all dust from the Fan of my Graphic Card and from the Processor's Heatsink puls fan.

    Still I get the sound whenever I try to play any games or watch a movie.....

    Please help...

    im guessing its when the PC is under load, its not going to be the dust nessicarly it could be a fan bearing or something like that going out...

    Also not too uncommon for capacitors on the mobo to making a high pitched "sqealing" noise when under a load............

    Is it normal to get this kind of noise...?

    So, does it mean this the PC will crash soon...? OR ... I need to change some hardware like Motherbord or Graphick card or something like that ...???

    Please help me ... I get afraid when this sound starts.....

    Well its hard to say from not actually hearing the noise but unless its excessively/startlingly loud and more sporadic (as opposed to steady) then I don't think you have anything to worry about at this point in time....

    its not so much a temporary case, as it is just normal occurrence. Again, I don't know specifically what the sound is so take what i say with a grain of salt but from your description it sounds like it should be nothing to worry about....

    Why not open your case up the next time it happens and listen carefully as to where the sound comes from. I think it's a fan going...

    Ya its true, the sound come from the CPU fan or the graphic card fan. But it happens when I play any game or any movie file. I'ven't got this kind of sound before.... What else can I do to stop it?

    Do you think for some reason windows keep pressure on CPU fan?
