How did you get Speedfan to control the fans in your system? Speed fan does not recognise any fans in my 710H2C.
My CPus run around 50 something Celcius under load currently. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
Thats not a bad temp. I have never used Speenfan to control temps though so I cant help you there.
Hmm, so when should I start to worry where the temperatures are concerned? 55? 58?
Because the system is running now at 2.66 instead of 3.2 Ghz.
And also, the graphics card, goes up to about 65C, which I've been told is safe.
As long as its not over 70c its safe. I like to keep mine under 60c though. GPUs generally get much hotter. Some get up to 90c with stock cooling.
Intel specs max temp as 65, likely with elbow room. Myself I try and stay under 65 if the processors are running at 100% for long durations. Spikes up to 70 i don't think will do any harm. Just my opinion. The GPUs can handle way more heat. I don't think 80 and 90 are uncommon. Myself I bring the fan speed up a bit when cuda processing, they are pretty quiet, and keeping em cooler sure don't hurt.
Intel specs different processors at different temps. My T7200 runs at 80C all day.
