I have the same NIC on my ASUS A8V motherboard. Mine doesn't autodetect link speed and duplex properly unless it is connected to a gigabit switch, so i had to set it to 100base-t full duplex to get it working on my 10/100 switch. try setting it to 100Base-T half duplex or full duplex and see if it can get an IP via DHCP from your router.

if u have never been able to use it u probably need to go into ur bio's settings and enable it as your computer restarts u can hit delete to get into your bios check under perifrials or what ever,, u will see a listing for the ethernet adapter Marvell Yukon 88E8001/8003/8010 enable that ,,, change nothing else and hit f10 to save the changes ,,, it should work then, mine did

Dude, he had the problem 3 years ago.  Also, his problem indicated that it was seen under the OS, which it would not have been if it were disabled in the BIOS.

People read the stupidest things.  Like this sig, for instance.
