right, a few things to report.

Pro's -

- Sheer size of the viewable screen is amazing
- Clarity at its native resolution is also amazing
- Dual VGA and DVI input
- Price. Ebuyer.co.uk currently has the F-419 for 180GBP including VAT and P+P

Con's -

Firstly, no matter how dark you set the brightness, contrast and gamma in either the OSD or the nvidia control panel, blacks are a light grey, which made playing in oblivions dungeons and night-time scenes unbearable! i dont even want to think what doom3 would have been like!

secondly, the contrast ratio of 500:1 seems pretty normal, yet in oblivion for example, at dawn or dusk, when the sky would be a range of vivid colours at sunset/sunrise on my CRT, it was 7 or 8 bands of muddy brown colours making up the sunset/sunrise, as if i had the monitor set to 16 or 24bit colour. that pissed me off, it was not nice.

in conclusion, although the monitor was ideal for web browsing, and word processing etc, it was frankly rubbish for gaming. Sorry if this review is naff, its my first rushed attempt, and im just trying to give people a heads up about this particular monitor.
