Name: Brian, Big B is just a nickname I got in high school, so that's typically the handle I use in forums

    Age: 26

    Location: NE Indiana, US

    Job: Inventory Analyst

    Interests: Computers, World Domination, Metal

Got into computers: I watched my dad assemble and setup my first PC, and figured that wasn't that hard. Over the next few years I started getting my hands dirty, dabbling in various things computing. I did go to college for a computer-related degree, but dropped out. I'm just going to go get my certs and go about it that way.

Games I play: mainly FEAR and Quake 4. Those games just kick arse.

What I'm Like in Real Life: If you don't know me and I don't know you, I'm likely to be quiet. However, once I'm familiar with someone, I'm usually rather silly.

Picture: I'll get back with you...

    RE: Who is everyone really?

In the flesh my name is Micheal. I'm 32 years old and a father of 6 kids. My hobbies have always had a power theme simply because as my alias suggest i have always been very aggressive at what ever i did. I grew up in a small town with a drag strip right behind the house. Needless to say my obsession with speed and power was born. I grew up racing every thing i touched starting with dirt bikes and finally as a teen i too was racing on that very drag strip passing my own back yard. At some point i had a family and with it had to give up the hotrod and bikes as the cost of maintaining a family of 6 is hard to do. So i found my hobby and life bread in computers. I am the manager of a computer shop in Texarkana Texas and a avid overclocker and gamer. Luckily i have a awesome wife who is considerate of my hobby and also games as a matter of fact so does the whole family. Every evening its a family time of fun.

It's funny i have been a member of this sight for years and never took the time to hit this thread.

Re: RE: Who is everyone really?

    Awesome post! Here goes...

Name: Real name is Dan. Of French/Italian descent.

I've been PC gaming since the mid-late 90's days (Tribes) and have always gamed under the name 'F7'. It's from the cult classic movie 'Logan's Run'. Assuming you know the premise of the movie, in the beginning Logan 5 and Francis 7 who were both 'Sandmen' (bounty hunters) were chasing a runner when the runner stopped and turned to fight. He began shooting at Francis 7 who began toying with him and laughing maniacally while being shot at from point blank range. I fell in love with the character Francis 7 (played by Richard Jordan) instantly.

It doubly stuck due to my French heritage (hence the Francis) and my gaming style which like Francis 7's hunting style is aggressive. Then I just shortened it to F7 because who wants to be called Francis?. Surprise

    Location: Northern New Jersey

    Job: Senior Mechanical Designer

Education: B.S. Computer Science, currently pursuing B.S. in African American Studies

Interests: My wife, computers, gadgets, motorcycles, music (Jazz), movies, anti-racism activism.

Got into computers: Commodore 64. ;) I went to Toys R Us and purchased a game, brought it home, copied it, and brought it back to Toys R Us and repeated the process. I then sold the copies to classmates. Needless to say, after almost a year, my local Toys R Us changed their return policy to not accept opened games.

Games I play: My wife and I are travelling and starting a family so I don't have tremendous amounts of time to play. Right now I play TF2. I would like to play BioShock and Crysis, but my video card and rig are not capable of running either one (X800XT).

How I am in real life: Easy going. On messageboards I can come across as a bit of a harda$$, especially when racial, political, and religious topics arise, but all in all I am a fun loving guy who is easy to get along with. I just have a zero tolerance policy for racism, prejudice, and bigotry.

Pictures:  Here's some pictures of my everyday bike, a 2005 Ducati Monster S2R that I did extensive work to, as well as pictures of me racing my 998. I love racing and have attained a respectable level in amateur racing. I'm no Valentino Rossi by far, but I'm proud of my achievements nonetheless. Smile
