I wish for a bagel with cream cheese

You get your wish,....but when you go to eat it, there are "noodles" moving around on it, and they don't look like any Noodles you've ever seen before.

Looking closer, you see that they're starting to carry the Bagel away!

I wish for a chance to re-live life from the age of 21 again, knowing what I know now,............

It could be interesting to watch the cat fight ensue... Nah it might get messy and I don't really want to clean that up.

Swapped my motherboard out today for an ASRock Z68 Extreme 7 Gen-3. Was able to put both of my GTX-570's in it at full X16 speeds.
I used the GSKill RipJaws-X 2133MHz RAM and the same i7-2600K CPU. There is a Mushkin Chronos 240GB SSD and two 1TB Western Digital Black HDD's in RAID.

It's running real good now. Been trying my favorite games out and it's like they're new again,.......Smile

Very nice, I picked that board up as well when I upgraded a few months back.  The images you posted are all broken links.

Very cool, I upgraded to an SSD in my 4 year old desktop for the boot drive and made a huge difference. I can't wait until I am done with school so I can build the Sandy Bridge-E system I have been planning. I am going to avoid ivy bridge for now.

This is the board I got. I bought it used from a friend for a C-Note.

Sandy Bridge is a good platform. I have no complaints about it. I just needed a better motherboard than the entry level ASRock Z68 Pro-3 M board I had. This one fits the bill nicely.

I would have gone with Ivy if I could have, but on a retirement income you have to adapt and improvise. Crying

I had the two GTX-570's already and just got a Radeon HD 7770 card as a gift not long ago. While it doesn't have the same performance as a GTX-570, it's good enough to power the second gaming rig for now. Getting another one of those 7770's will not be too expensive for crossfire on that rig and the performance will be good too. The price just came down to $130.00 for another XFX like mine.

If I'm going to REALLY keep up, I'll have to win a PC from HH pretty soon,........(hint, hint) Smile

Very nice and you really can't beat the price :)

I noticed you have those Cougar fans in that system what do you think of them?

I know the feeling on having a limited income, in a few weeks I have to add a $450 dollar student loan payment into my budget man that is going to stink and leave my household broke every month.

Those GTX 570s are powerful enough for some decent game play especially in SLI :)

I was thinking of grabbing one of the lower end 7000 series AMD cards for a friend to play Guild Wars 2 with.

The Cougar fans are awesome. They move a lot of air and they are quiet too. Well worth the money IMO.

The XFX R7770 Core Edition card is pretty good for the money. I got it as a gift, and they paid $159.00 for it. A few days later they went down to $139.00 so when I buy a second one for Crossfire it will be cheaper for me. I think that they'll come down a little more once the new NVIDIA GPU's are a reality in the marketplace, instead of something we keep hearing about, but can't really buy.

Two of these in crossfire will be sufficient.

I will have to keep the Cougar fans in mind next time I am buying fans. I have never used them before so I wondered how well they performed. Thanks.

Two of those on crossfire should be able to handle just about anything you throw at them at this point. Though I am sure there are a few titles coming out soon like Max Payne 3 that might stress them.
