HI THERE.
can someone please tell me what is the best program to use to convert video files from one format to another (eg: WMV to MPEG, AVI, DIVX etc)
i currently use WIN MOVIE MAKER 2 to save my digital vids from my panasonic gs70 3ccd dv camcorder to my pc, and now want to convert the WMV files to MPEG or AVI to burn to dvd.

i tried WinMPG video convert 5.4 but its only the trial version.

i have adobe premier on my pc, but its a bit complicated to use just for doing basic editing and vid transfers, movie maker allows me to Do some very good basic editing, but doesnt allow me to save my digi vids to any other codec except WMV.

thanks again if anyone has some advice on this one.....GLEN

Ha Ha glad you guys agree. I spend half an hour last night following all his posts and deleting every one which were all spam, but one. Which was a random smiley which I thought I would leave.

Thanks, Bob. That guy is really persistent and we just might not have seen the last of his SPAM postings.
