The question of whether to add a “dislike” button just won’t go away for Facebook, in part because the company hasn’t aggressively shot the idea down. This week, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg closed the book on the issue by saying outright that Facebook won’t create a “dislike” button. However, he went on to say that Facebook is considering other ways to help user express emotions other than “like.” Could that mean buttons similar to “dislike” down the road? Said Lyons in the iCrossing post, “Using a process of linear regression on the data from the end of 2008 onwards we expect Facebook to hit a billion active users around August 2012. Looking at the data from 2006-mid 2008 it looks like Facebook... Read more...
Mark Zuckerberg is 23 years old. He founded the social networking site Facebook while he was still in college. He's made the mistake most bright people make when one of their notions becomes wildly popular overnight: He's thinks it has nothing to do with luck, or being in the right place at the right time.  Unchastened by his foolhardy foray into Big Brother spying on his customers with the Beacon widget, he continues to behave like what he is:  an inexperienced businessman in charge of a suddenly prominent business.Want to know about how privately held Facebook is doing from a financial...
