Microsoft has been in dire need of a win pertaining to its Xbox products lately, and this one is pretty good: Xbox 360 users with an Xbox Live Gold membership will be able to watch 300 of Time Warner Cable’s “most popular” channels live, right from their consoles with TWC TV. They’ll be able to navigate the channels using voice commands and the Kinect, which makes for an interesting experience. Because “Xbox 720” was ultimately kind of a dumb name, Microsoft wisely went with something different for its new console: Xbox One. At Microsoft headquarters today, the Xbox crew debuted Xbox One, showed off its new features, and promised to give us more at E3 next month. The Cloud Saved Games feature of Xbox LIVE went down on December 29th, which infuriated users, particularly those who were counting on some day-long gaming to pass the time during holiday family visits.
