Today, we got a chance to see the new ViewSonic EXOdesk. This new interactive touch screen tabletop uses an HTML5-powered interface created by EXOPC. As you can see from the video below, the EXOdesk supports gesture-based control of applications and multi-touch input. The demo we saw featured a 32-inch screen and was powered by an external PC running on a Core i7 CPU and integrated graphics. The panel supports 10 points of touch with a resolution of 1920x1080. And the CES teasers begin to pour in. ViewSonic announced today that it will debut new ViewPad tablets, the EXODesk touch tabletop, and a new universal display designed for all manner of mobile devices. Specifically, expect new 10-inch tablets (including the ViewPad 10pro) that can dual-boot with Windows 7 Professional Android. The EXODesk is a 32-inch touch table top that ViewSonic has developed with EXOPC and features 10-point touch capabilities, a custom UI begging for HTML5 development, Windows 7, and Intel Core i7 processing power. ViewSonic is expanding its ViewPad tablet lineup with an affordable new model called the ViewPad 7e. This 7-inch tablet will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with ViewSonic's ViewScene 3D interface. The ViewPad 7e also has a budget-friendly price tag of $199.99. The ViewPad 7e will have a 1GHz processor, 4GB of internal storage, 3MP rear camera, 0.3MP VGA front facing camera, RiteTouch technology and multi-touch capability. ViewSonic is adding to its line of tablets with the ViewPad 10e, announced today. The 9.7-inch tablet will feature a 4:3 ratio, a 1Ghz Cortex A8 processor, and 4GB of built-in storage (expandable to 32GB with a microSD card). For connectivity, the ViewPad 10e sports wireless 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and a minin HDMI connector. As far as software goes, the tablet comes with the ViewScene 3D interface, which includes customizable panels and widgets and access to an online marketplace. And the parent wars, continue. Microsoft has been drilling down agreements with companies left and right, largely getting them to dole out funds in exchange for using Android, which Microsoft claims uses their patents. It's a weird legal mess, and clearly there are some companies willing to fight it. But Acer and ViewSonic aren't in that group. Both companies have been churning out Android devices, and now, both companies have signed onto Microsoft's growing list of patent licensees. ViewSonic announced the VG2732m-LED and VP2765-LED large format graphics and professional monitors. Both of these 27-inch monitors offer full HD 1920x1080 resolution and feature advanced LED based panels with an ultra high contrast ratio. The VP2765-LED also utilizes Advanced MVA (AMVA) LED panel technology. This monitor offers super wide 178/178 viewing angles and 300 nits brightness. We’ve kept you apprised of ViewSonic’s ViewPad 10 and its associated updates, and now there’s one more chapter in the story with the release of the ViewPad 10pro. ViewSonic's new 10.1-inch ViewPad 10pro has specs that are similar to the ViewPad 10, which was released back in March. The primary difference is that the ViewPad 10pro has a different processor and chipset--the 1.5GHz Intel Atom Z670 (Oak Trail) and SM35 Intel embedded DX9 as opposed to the ViewPad 10’s 1.66GHz Intel N455 (Pine Trail) and Mobile NM10 Express. ViewSonic is adding a new 3D LED monitor to its lineup. The new V3D245 is a 24-inch 3D, full HD (1080p) LED monitor that features a built-in NVIDIA 3D Vision wireless emitter and comes with NVIDIA 3D Vision glasses. This monitor features a 120Hz frame refresh rate, 2ms video response time, 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 300 nits high brightness. The V3D245 also offers HDMI 1.4, making it easy to connect the monitor to the latest Blu-ray 3D players or PS3 consoles. ViewSonic is expanding its tablet offerings by introducing the ViewBook 730. The ViewBook 730 targets budget-minded users. This tablet runs on Android 2.2 and an ARM Cortex-A8 1Ghz processor. Connectivity options for the ViewBook 730 include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and HDMI. The ViewBook 730 features a 7-inch, 800x480 LED backlit screen with RiteTouch technology.
