You may have not been there, but The Galapagos Islands are known around the world as being some of the most unique, precious islands on the planet. From a biological standpoint, you'll find ecosystems here that you won't find anywhere else, and in fact, it's becoming a bit more difficult for average folks to visit because of efforts that are ongoing to protect those very ecosystems. Google Maps has changed the way we navigate the world, whether it’s planning out a trip (or adjusting on the fly), using your smartphone to figure out where the dang ballet studio is, having a Street View look at the town you’re about to move to, and so on, and the service just keeps getting better.
