Despite the fact that HP will be shuffling out of the consumer PC business, there are quite a few products in the pipeline that have to get out first. The company has just revealed "its largest investment in the all-in-one desktop PC market to date," but it's a shame that it could very well be its last big investment in the space. Maingear has just announced an updated line-up of game machines targeted at users on a budget. The newly revamped “VYBE” series of Maingear systems is built around Intel’s current socket 1155 Sandy-Bridge processors and features either P67 or Z68-chipset based motherboards and graphics cards from NVIDIA, although two of the new models are also customizable with options that include hardware higher-end CPUs, hard drives, memory and optical drives, in addition to a choice of custom color scheme. Samsung has been on a roll lately. After announcing the new Series 7 laptops and a few new mobile devices, the company is also introducing the Series 7 Slate. This is a lightweight slate computer that promises full PC capabilities. In order to accomplish this, the Series 7 Slate runs a full version of Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Professional. Lenovo is hoping to attract small businesses with its new LS Series of monitors. These monitors offer a 10 million to one dynamic contrast ratio and are very energy efficient. The series includes the 21.5-inch LS2221 wide and 23.6-inch LS2421p wide HD monitors. The LS2221 wide comes with VGA and DVI connections while the LS2421p wide offers VGA and HDMI outputs, a four-USB port hub, and up to 300 brightness level.
