No Man’s Sky has only been out for two days on the Playstation 4 and comes out tomorrow on the PC. The developer has already released a few patches, but players are already exploiting the game’s lingering loopholes. Gamers have found ways to quickly obtain rare items and finish the game. One player was able to obtain five Atlas Stones, a rare game item, in around half an hour. This process should have taken at least ten times as long. What exactly is the glitch? We will not divulge all the game’s secrets, but here is the gist. When a person dies, the game lets the player reclaim their ship’s... Read more...
Even if the action-adventure survival game No Man's Sky isn't your kind of game, it's hard to argue that the title has lead to one of the most interesting development cycles we've seen in recent years. It's a game that half a year ago went under most people's radar, but today? It can't stay out of the news, and for a myriad of reasons. This past May, the game's developer, Hello Games, had to deliver the unfortunate news that the game would be delayed until this month, which is news that didn't go down well with many of the game's legion of fans. One journalist even received death threats... Read more...
While PC virtual reality (VR) gaming fans have the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive to play around with (priced at $600 and $800 respectively), console gamers have largely been left out of the loop. Leading up to the PlayStation VR’s release, more details about the accessory are starting to leak to the internet (via a leaked PlayStation VR brochure). Back in the day the Sony was supposed to create a CD-ROM add-on for the Super Nintendo. The collaboration fell through and the Nintendo Playstation was relegated to the trashcan of video game history. Ben Heck recently conducted an extensive investigation of the Nintendo Playstation and recently showed viewers exactly what was inside the cancelled console. Where did someone find this video game “missing link”? Terry Diebold was a maintenance man for Advanta Corporation from 2000 to 2009. The owner of the corporation was Olaf Olafsson, the former CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment.  It was... Read more...

If your brain hasn't already shut down from the sheer amount of details to come out of this year's E3, then here's something else to shove down your gullet: a new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer. Let's state the obvious: Call of Duty trailers are never received well by those who love to troll. Even those who wouldn't have played the game anyway love to jump in and toss in their ridicule. It's a bit odd, but it is what it is. The backlash led the original trailer release to score a staggering 2.8 million dislikes at YouTube, versus its 460 thousand likes. That caused Activision's CEO to come... Read more...
Spider-Man is bringing his brand of Marvel-ous justice to the PlayStation 4 console under the guidance of Insomniac, the same development studio that brought to life Spyro, Ratchet & Clank, and Sunset Overdrive. In the United States, the smartphone market feels almost like a two-horse race between Apple and Samsung, with HTC galloping a fair distance behind. But lest anyone forget, Sony offers some intriguing handsets under its Xperia banner, four of which are arriving unlocked in the next couple of months. Forgiveness is easily granted for anyone who forgot about Sony's Xperia line.
