Qualcomm can't seem to catch a break when it comes to its Snapdragon 810 System-on-Chip (SoC) and overheating rumors. The latest to join the fray is Sony and its Xperia Z3+, along with the Xperia Z4, essentially the same handset with a different model number of the Japanese market. Sony has confirmed that both devices can overheat under certain circumstances and has promised a software fix. Last year, at IDF, Intel announced that it would soon make a concerted push into both the Windows and the Android tablet markets, with an aggressive contra-revenue strategy (meaning, they'd ship devices at a loss) and a huge set of marketing campaigns.
