While at MSI’s suite today, we had the chance to get some hands on time with the company’s latest ultrabook convertible, the Slider S20. Announced late last week, this ultrabook is set to be available later this month with a price tag of $1,199.99.  Key specifications and features include Windows 8 along with an Intel Core i5 processor, 1920x1080 HD IPS 10-point touchscreen, 8GB of DDR3 memory, and a 128GB SSD. One of the products MSI was busy showing off at Computex earlier this month was the company's upcoming Slider S20, which is an 11.6-inch Ultrabook with a slide-out physical keyboard that doubles as a stand. MSI disclosed only a handful of details, saying it would pack an new generation Intel Chief River CULV platform processor, Windows 8, and an assortment of peripherals and I/O ports, including USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, and HDMI. Plain and simple, typing on a tablet, be it an iPad device or any number of Android slates, isn't much fun. Virtual keyboards just don't lend themselves to productivity chores the way a physical plank does, which could end up being a big selling point in the hybrid tablet/notebook category once Windows 8 rolls into view.
