The cyberwar and war of words between the United States and China is never-ending. When we last visited the tense relationship between the U.S. and China, President Barack Obama was crying foul over draft anti-terrorism legislation that would negatively affect American companies conducting business in China. More to the point, Obama took direct issue with language in the bill that would require American companies operating within China to deliver encryption keys to the Chinese government, install security backdoors, and keep all user data on Chinese soil. "Those kinds of restrictive practices I... Read more...
Everything old comes eventually comes back in style, and luckily for me, that includes old school adventure games. One that you can already play is Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded, a remake of the original with new puzzles and updated graphics. First released in 1987, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards followed a 40-year-old virgin as he sought to win the heart of a woman--any woman, really--through a variety of after-hours sorts of locales. Originally created by Sierra and now remade by Replay Games as Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, the game’s creator, Al Lowe, and Josh Mandel were tasked with bringing the a revised version of the game to life, which they did in part via a Kickstarter campaign. The new version sticks with the original’s... Read more...
