Pantech's new dual-core smartphone and its waterproof tablet are now available through AT&T. The wireless carrier is offering a bundled deal with both the smartphone and the tablet for just $250 with a contract. Of course, you'll need the appropriate data plans for both devices. A few weeks ago, some leaked images of the Pantech Breakout 4G LTE smartphone from Verizon Wireless appeared. Now, we have an official confirmation of the phone from Verizon Wireless as well as a release date—September 22. Word on the street suggests Verizon Wireless is preparing to launch quite a few handsets this month. The Pantech Breakout is expected to be among the phones launching this month. Now, thanks to leaked information, we know a little bit more about what this smartphone will offer. AT&T hopes to attract new smartphone users with the new Pantech Crossover smartphone. This smartphone will be available on June 5 for $69.99 with a contract and compatible plan. Yesterday, we told you about Verizon Wireless' plans to launch its 4G LTE network. Initially, it appeared the LG VL600 modem may be the only model available at launch. Now, it's clear the Pantech UML290 will also be available on Sunday, Dec. 5. This 4G USB modem supports both 4G and 3G speeds and offers a rotating USB connector that folds away when not in use. AT&T and Pantech have teamed up to offer customers a new quick messaging phone with a touch screen handset and a sliding keyboard. The new Pursuit phone offers a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, multitasking capabilities, a full QWERTY keyboard, and apps such as Drawing Commander, Face Tag and Graffiti.
