Microsoft will be pushing Office 2013 into the mobile world with the Windows 8.1 update public preview on June 26th. The company announced today at Computex that small x86 tablets will be available with Microsoft Office 2013 built in. On top of that, Outlook 2013 will be coming to ARM-based Windows RT tablets at the same time. Microsoft has apparently realized that the changes it made to Office 2013's licensing scheme weren't going over well with its customer base and has agreed to modify the original agreement. Not long after the new Office suite launched, sharp-eyed bloggers noticed that the licensing agreement had been altered. Previous Office versions, including Office 2010, had allowed retail copies of the program to be transferred from one computer to another, provided the application was only used on one PC at a time. The coding and testing phase of Microsoft's next generation Office productivity suite -- Office 2013 -- is complete, with the focus now shifting to distribution. Windows 8 will be available Oct. 26th. Today, Microsoft ended months of speculation about Windows 8's launch date by announcing it at the Microsoft Global Exchange sales conference, shortly before Brandon LeBlanc broke the news to the public via the Windows blog.
