Little by little, Google is expanding its Google Fiber gigabit Internet service to more parts of the country, and the next lucky location is likely to be North Carolina. It's being reported that construction in North Carolina could start as early as April, presumably because it wouldn't be much fun to kick things off earlier and work in the winter months. Hey look, North Carolinians, it's a bird... It's a plane ... no, it's the Super WI-Fi! Or, if you want get all technical about it, it's actually the world's first commercial TV White Space (TVWS) network, but Super Wi-Fi, as it's commonly referred to, sounds so much better, even though -- again, technically -- it's not really Wi-Fi since it utilizes the so-called 'white-space' spectrum originally reserved for analog TV bands. Apple just paid them $1.7M to move out of the house they lived in for 34 years. After the couple rejected two offers, Apple told them to put a price on the single-story house built on less than one acre of land, and they did. That property was purchased for $6,000 when they moved in 34 years ago. Now, the Fulbrights live in a 4,200 sq. ft. house on a 49-acre property.
