T-Mobile will expand its myTouch family with the new myTouch and myTouch Q on August 8. Both of these smartphones are manufactured by Huawei. The phones feature a new version of the Genius Button which provides access to voice controls powered by Dragon from Nuance as well as an easy setup process and access to tutorials. In-car entertainment and information is finally getting with the program. Ford has just announced performance upgrades and new features for MyFord Touch beginning with 2013 models, but perhaps more importantly, no-charge upgrade will be available to existing owners. The new system will feature simpler graphics that are easier to use and that's exactly what Ford plans to deliver with a broad set of performance upgrades to the system – launching first on the new 2013 Ford Escape, Flex, and Taurus. For a carrier that may be absorbed by AT&T in a few months, T-Mobile USA is really crankin' out the new phones. Of course, that deal seems to be in jeopardy, and the carrier has to keep on keeping on just in case things don't pan out. And we aren't complaining about a few new phones, that's for sure. T-Mobile's latest myTouch smartphone aims to take advantage of the wireless carrier's new "super-fast" HSPA+ mobile broadband network. The latest T-Mobile myTouch supports video chat both when a Wi-Fi connection is available as well as through T-Mobile's wireless network. With HSPA+, the new myTouch has a theoretical capability of 14.4Mbps. Currently, T-Mobile offers HSPA+ coverage in more than 65 major metropolitan areas. The new retail agreement between RadioShack and T-Mobile expands RadioShack’s postpaid wireless offerings and brings some of T-Mobile’s highly anticipated handsets, such as the T-Mobile myTouch 3G with Google, to the retailer.
