Cursed Cursors would be a fairly great name for a bad 80s rock band. But that's neither here nor there. What is here, however, is Logitech's new wireless mouse, the M525. It's a pretty simple fellow, aimed at those who value compact devices and loads of battery life. This guy's got the means to power through three years of (light) use, and there's a smart sleep mode and on/off switch as well. The tiny Logitech Unifying receiver connects up to six Unifying-compatible devices with a single nano receiver, so your space is free of clutter and your USB port stays free for other devices. And Logitech... Read more...

So why on earth didn't more of the major players think of this one a long time ago?  With all these people walking around with Bluetooth-ready music to stream, why not design speaker systems with Bluetooth connectivity as well?  Perhaps I've been living under a rock.  I mean sure, there are a few Bluetooth ready speakers out there from the likes of Bose and Creative but there really aren't that many worth considering, when you think about it.  And who the heck wants to "dock" mechanically?  Uggh...  dude, that's so 90s. Then, out of nowhere, Logitech pops into my inbox... Read more...
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency slapped Logitech with a fine worth more than a quarter of a million dollars for claims the peripheral maker made about its cordless desktop MX3200 laser mouse and keyboard combo. Those peripherals are now defunct, but when they were being sold, Logitech touted their ability to protect users from nasty bacteria and microbes. That would have been fine and dandy, had Logitech tested its claims and then registered with the EPA. "Unverified public health claims can lead people to believe they are protected from disease-causing organisms when, in fact, they are... Read more...

Green's the going thing these days, and if you aren't joining in on the revolution, you're sitting it out by default. Logitech's K750 solar keyboard made an eco-friendly splash when it hit last year for Windows users, but now Mac addicts will be able to enjoy the same board, albeit with Mac-specific key layouts and four exclusive colors. This one's designed to be plug-and-play with OS X, operating on a 2.4GHz wireless frequency (Unifying Receiver, not Bluetooth) and capable of running for three months on a full charge. There are solar cells along the top that recharge the board via direct or ambient... Read more...
No company wants a product that's returned more rapidly than it can sell them, but that's what Logitech reportedly has on its hands with the Revue. Logitech executives have stated that the Revue's revenue stream is "slightly negative," and the company has slashed prices from $249 to $99, reportedly in a bid to clear inventory (the unit is still listed at $249.99 on Logitech's homepage). We launched Revue with the expectation that it would generate significant sales growth in spite of a relatively high price point and the newness of both the smart TV category and the underlying platform,”...
