If we asked you to name five gaming PC manufacturers, Lenovo probably wouldn't make the list. No other company in the world ships more PCs than Lenovo, but of those machines, relatively few are dedicated gaming boxes. Traditionally, Lenovo has focused its efforts on business class desktops and laptops, though the company is known to play in performance waters on occasion, most notably with its IdeaCentre K Series of high-end towers. These aren't hardcore gaming boxes like the boutique builders offer, however, so there's room in Lenovo's lineup to add a dedicated line of systems built exclusively... Read more...

The all-in-one PC form factor is a brilliant, if not obvious, evolution of the desktop computer. AIO systems offer the maximum amount of screen real estate while drastically minimizing the total footprint of the computer by packing all the components inside the monitor (or in the case of this particular AIO, the base of the stand). Even better, now that ten-finger touch input is de rigeur, these machines offer new methods of computer interaction that are alternately ideal for wide-eyed youngsters, old luddites, and seasoned power users. (Give a toddler a touchscreen and she’ll figure out... Read more...

Lenovo's CES launch started yesterday with five new notebooks, but the company just couldn't let desktop users sneak by without new machines to consider. The company is launching four new IdeaCentre all-in-one PCs today, the A320, B520, B320 and C205. Each one of these are uniquely designed, so you'll need to gaze on each one to see which design would look best in your place. The A320 is described as the industry's slimmest all-in-one desktop, with a 21.5" widescreen display, Intel's second-generation Core i5 CPU, HDMI input / output and an integrated card reader. The B520 is a really, really unique... Read more...
We hope you're ready to dig through the details, because if you're in the market for a new Lenovo, the company has no fewer than ten new models to choose from starting today. Just about the entire consumer lineup is being refreshed, including a revamped version of the Z-Series, U-Series, IdeaCentre all-in-one and the H-Series of low-cost all-in-one PCs. The Z-Series kicks things off, with these bargian-priced multi-media notebooks (Z360, Z560 and Z565) bringing a nice balance of power, size and value. The machines come with a 13.3" or 15.6" display, an optional Blu-ray drive, Intel's new Core 2010... Read more...
Yesterday Lenovo introduced a bunch of new ThinkPad machines, with the new Edge, X100e and a few other machines headlining the show. Today, the company is making another push as CES gets ready to open its doors to the masses, with its IDEA-branded products getting a significant upgrade. Moreover, an all new product from Lenovo has been announced: its first smartbook ever. Let's get started with the IDEA lineup. Most PC makers decided to push their new Windows 7 machines on October 22nd, the day that Microsoft officially launched its next generation OS into the public realm. Lenovo, however, decided to let the world breathe a bit, and we can't say that's such an awful strategy. Now, it has the spotlight to itself in the introduction of its new IdeaPad and IdeaCentre machines: three new notebooks (U150, U550 and Y550P) and three new desktops (B500, K300 and H230) are on deck, and all six of them have Win7 loaded on. All of the machines should be listed at Lenovo's site in order for customers to customize... Read more...
The Lenovo IdeaCentre A600 is an all-in-one desktop with plenty of features and bells-and-whistles to keep all but the most jaded of users happy. Perhaps taking a page out of Apple's book, Lenovo put a lot of effort into the look and feel of the A600, with its black-colored chassis, borderless 21.5-inch 1920x1080 TFT display, curved back, and svelte form factor--measuring only 1-inch thick at its thinnest point. The A600 Series comes in a variety of configurations, which range in price from $679 to $1,399.The unit we looked at--the A600-30114BU--is at the top of the A600's food chain and comes... Read more...
