Just about a year ago, we posted a link to a trailer for id's upcoming first person shooter / driving game hybrid dubbed Rage. Since then few details regarding the game have been released other than it would be built around a new game engine called id Tech 5 and that Rage would be the first game developed completely in-house since Doom 3. The iPhone is getting free access at any ATT hotspot.  Others are getting it because ATT goofed.Now that AT&T has full control of wireless hotspots like Starbucks and Barnes and Nobles, it looks like they're doling out freebies to their favorite customers: iPhone users. Apparently, if you've got one of Apple's devices, you can hop on the WiFi networks for exactly zero dollars provided you enter your phone number at a login screen. You have to measure the remarks of the Ericsson CEO about the future of Wi-Fi hotspot computing against the stake he has in the outcome of the race to serve the computing public on the go; but he does seem to be hitting the nail on the head when he predicts that  Wi-Fi hotspots are "The telephone boxes of the broadband era." ... there's a lot of truth in what Ericsson CEO Johan Bergendahl has to say: Wi-Fi has really never been much more than a stopgap technology, especially as far as cell phones are concerned. We just got our hands on some tasty new screenshots from the Crysis multi-player beta that we thought you'd all like to see.  According to a recent poll, Crysis what the game a majority of you were most interested in playing, and after seeing these screenshots, we're sure your interest isn't going to wane one bit...           We have seen Crysis live many times throughout its development and never cease to be impressed.  The lighting, shadow, and particle effects are excellent, as are the special effects like motion blurring...
