It's almost the end of December, and I almost went an entire month without a single problem from my ISP! The "Horrible Ping From Hell" problem has risen it's ugly head again, which makes a few things I do on the net impossible or very problematic. All you online gaming fans know the pain that a ping of 400 can bring. Next year, maybe Santa will bring me Comcast ;) Enough of my problems though, let's get this going... I'm feeling much better now, and it's great to be back! I'll tell you, you don't realize how great breathing is until you can't do it anymore. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. I didn't get to enjoy it myself, but my friends had plenty of leftovers at their house so I still had my fill of turkey :) Anyway, there isn't much news tonight, but I'll give you what I got... Well guess what I've been doing the last couple of days? Probably the same thing as you, HL2 :) Valve has created one amazing game, and one I'm sure the mod community is going to be all over. Is it the best game of the year? Well that's a debatable issue, but it certainly is up at the top. On with the news... and then off I go to play HL2 some more ;) Thermalright XP-90 Heatsink Review @ OCModShop "In addition to the fins there are four heat pipes. I just got home and let me tell you... it's hard trying to teach someone, who thinks AOL is the Internet, to actively protect themselves against spyware ;) It's almost as fun as explaining that pop-ups that say "You have a virus, Click Here!!!!1!", might not be telling the truth! Enough of that, it's news time... Good morning all.  I can't believe we are gearing up for another hurricane here in NC.  I moved down here from NY about 5 months ago to find a more affordable place to live with a slower pace.  While those virtues hold true, I never expected to be dodging hurricanes and tornadoes on a regular basis.  Mother Nature is active this season and if all goes well, we'll keep dodging her fury.  At this point, I'm actually looking forward to Winter! Debugging the Megahertz Myth Editorial @ CoolTechZone: "Most, if not all, of you have read or been in heated debates over why... Read more...
Good evening my friends, welcome back :)  As you can see, the dust from constructing our new home is slowly settling to the ground.  But, as BigWop eluded to this AM, we still have a few tricks up our proverbial sleeve.  In the mean time, you will just have to suffer through piles of news and benchmarks... *sigh* such a rough life..... ;) Alpha Novatech S-PAL8952 Pentium4 Heatsink Review @ FrostyTech "It has been nearly two years since FrostyTech last reviewed an Alpha heatsink.
