We've all heard it before -- "turn that music down, or you'll lose your hearing!" According to a European Union scientific body, said phrase has never been truer. Comcast has drawn a lot of attention to itself since it decided to throttle BitTorrent traffic, and most of it negative.  Customers complained to anyone who would listen, and one of those was the FCC and another may just be House Internet Subcommittee Chair, (D) Rep. Health experts in the US have been urged to once again study the age old question: do loud noises damage your hearing? While not everyone knows exactly how loud music needs to be in order to cause some sort of hearing loss, there is a common sense limit that many people just choose to ignore.
