The Samsung Galaxy S is known to be coming to all four major carriers in one variant or another, with T-Mobile (Vibrant) and AT&T (Captivate) having already released their versions. Sprint's Epic 4G will be the first 4G version of the device, and it will have a slide-out keyboard and front-facing camera as well, missing from all the other versions. AT&T's first high-end Android-powered smartphone, the Samsung Captivate, is coming on July 18. That's right, in just over a week you'll be able to get your hands on AT&T's version of the Super AMOLED Galaxy S smartphone. This feature-filled phone has a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and 16GB of internal storage. The Captivate was announced in late June and is part of Samsung's Galaxy S line. Another 4G smartphone on Sprint? Yep, and we get the idea that Sprint will be milking that 4G headstart as much as possible over the next few months. With the HTC EVO 4G still firmly in the spotlight, Samsung is introducing America's 2nd 4G smartphone, though Sprint does point out that this is the first in the US with a slide-QWERTY keyboard and AMOLED touch screen.
