Crytek announced today that it has officially moved development of its F2P shooter "Hunt: Horrors of the Guilded Age" to Germany -- ignoring the fact that the majority of the US team had apparently already quit the company. The problem? Just as in the UK, the US employees weren't getting paid. Saints Row IV is off to a solid start having sold more than a million copies during its launch week, publisher Deep Silver announced on Thursday. Deep Silver also pointed out that the game's PC release tripled its first week's sales figures over the prior release from THQ, Saints Row: The Third. Not too shabby for a platform that doesn't always get its due respect these days. When THQ went bankrupt a couple of months ago, the first series that popped into my head was Saints Row. Anyone who's played it likely agrees that it's a classic - it takes the traditional FPS formula, puts it in a blender, adds a dash of humor, and becomes a ridiculously fun series. Fortunately, Deep Silver acquired Volition, the series' developer, and it sure didn't take too long before we discovered its fate: Saints Row IV is en route.
