Our friends at CyberPowerPC were showing off some seriously decked-out gaming rigs this year at CES 2012.  We've always had good experiences with their products here in the lab and the systems on display at CES showcased very impressive build quality, immaculate wire-routing along with impeccable pipe-work for their water cooling setups.  On display were several systems, including the rather bad-ass Fang III Series Black Mamba; a monster of a system that's super-charged with an over-the-top component configuration.  We'll get to that big fella in a moment or two. First... Read more...

It didn't take long for the system builders over at CyberPower PC to pounce on Nvidia's brand new dual-GPU GeForce GTX 590. This is the card gaming enthusiasts have been waiting for, the one Nvidia touts as the "fastest graphics card on the planet" (be sure to read our in-depth review of the GTX 590, in which we put that claim to the test), so naturally CyberPower PC saw fit to design a new series of high-end desktops around Nvidia's flagship GPU. Perhaps the coolest thing about this announcement is the cost of entry. CyberPower says you can step up to a GeForce GTX 590 equipped rig starting at... Read more...
As of this week, there's a new champion when it comes to world's fastest graphics card. A few years from now, we'll all look back at Intel's Sandy Bridge snafu and remember it as just a nick. A scratch. A minor hiccup in the grand scheme of things. But earlier in the year, it definitely had folks running, and Intel definitely took a major cash hit in order to remedy the problem in rapid-fire fashion. Now that things are being smoothed out, companies are taking the opportunity to reassure potential customers that the machines they are now selling are totally free of any possible bugs, with CyberPower being the latest. The company has just announced that they are immediately taking... Read more...
Already, Origin and Maingear have announced high-end gaming desktops with Intel's new Core i7 990X Extreme Edition CPU, and now another player is joining: CyberPower. Intel's launch of this CPU has been rather quiet. Instead, it's the PC makers who are making more of the noise. CyberPower has a history of upgrading their machines just as soon as a new chip becomes available, so why stop now? With another six-core CPU on the market, we figured it was only a matter of time before PC makers made it available as a part of their lineup. It's the new world's fastest CPU, and it will be incorporated into... Read more...
