According to Sony, the new NEX-C3 is the world’s smallest, lightest interchangeable lens camera with an APS-C sized sensor. This camera comes in a range of colors and offers DSLR-like quality in a compact model. The camera weighs approximately 8 ounces and features a 16.2 megapixel Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor. Nikon recently added two new compact cameras to its lineup. The new COOLPIX S1100pj broadens your ability to share photos, documents, and more with its built-in projector and ability to connect to your computer via USB. When connected to a PC, the camera can project anything that is displayed on the computer screen or JPEG images saved on the camera's memory card or internal memory. Pentax announced three new digital cameras today that bring back the classic look of cameras from days past. The PENTAX Optio I-10 features a flash unit and speaker in the upper mid-section of the SLR-shaped body. Canon announced six new PowerShot cameras today, including the new flagship PowerShot G11 and Canon’s first ever touchscreen PowerShot. All of the new cameras feature Canon’s Optical Image Stabilization and use the DIGIC 4 Image Processor. Casio announced two new additions to the EXILIM digital camera lineup that attempt to make it even easier to take good photos. For starters, the new EXILIM Zoom EX-Z450 and EXILIM Zoom EX-Z90 feature Intelligent AF, a new function that can detect your photographic subject and adjust the focus and exposure of the image accordingly. Pentax’s latest camera is ready to jump in the pool with you. The new Optio WS80 is a waterproof and dustproof model that features a 10 megapixel sensor and a 5x internal optical zoom lens. Well that certainly didn’t take long. Yesterday, we told you about a new Nikon camera / projector combo known as the COOLPIX S1000pj. Today, Nikon made this camera official and announced three others, one of which that has a new touch-screen interface. All of the new cameras incorporate Nikon’s EXPEED digital image processing concept. Kodak has added three new 12 megapixel compact cameras to its lineup. Leading the introductions is the EASYSHARE Z950 Digital Camera with a 10x image stabilized Schneider-Kreuznach optical zoom lens. Fujifilm unveiled six new FinePix models, including sub-$100 entry-level models as well as advanced megazoom cameras.
