You expect to see lots of product announcements at a show like Computex, but Acer is announcing a slew of them, starting with the previously-rumored Acer Iconia W3. The 8.1-inch (1280x720) tablet runs a full version of Windows 8 and comes with Microsoft Office pre-installed. It runs on an Intel Atom Z2760 chip and weighs in at just 1.1 pounds and 0.45 inches thick. New notebooks seem to be hitting store shelves on the regular these days, and Acer's making sure it's not left out of the trending party. The companies Aspire V Series was updated this week, with the V5 and V7 lines getting pretty nice overhauls for those in the market for a new ultraportable or standard-sized laptop. Acer's Aspire A0722 is now available through AT&T. This 11.6-inch netbook targets enterprise and consumer users by offering a portable and thin design with key usability features such as a full-size keyboard and multiple ports. The Aspire A0722 can connect to AT&T's HSPA+ network. The A0722 offers three USB ports, a VGA out connector, an Ethernet Jack, headphone jack, and HDMI-out port. Man, now things are getting interesting. Acer has just officially revealed the Aspire S3 Ultrabook, a 13.3" stunner-of-a-machine with an LED-backlit panel, widescreen aspect ratio, 1366x768 resolution and a body that's just impossible not to love. There's also an Instant-On function, Instant Connection (which gets you on the Internet in just 2.5 seconds), and a chassis that measures just .51 inches thick and weighs just 2.98 pounds. Watch out, mobile users -- the "ultrabooks" are coming! A few years ago, these things known as "smartbooks" briefly hit the market. And almost no one purchased the.
