Acer's new Iconia Tab isn't the only new product that the company is whipping out this week, as they're also catering a bit to the desktop crowd. The Aspire Z5761 is their newest all-in-one PC, boasting a stylish design, the company's own TouchPortal, TouchCam, TouchMusic and TouchPhoto applications, and Clear.fi. If you aren't familiar with Clear.fi, that's a new media sharing system that claims to be cross-platform in nature, and connects home devices in order to extract media from anywhere in the home (and without wires). Acer went above and beyond when it comes design, integrating a blue light... Read more...
Asetek and liquid cooling solutions go hand-in-hand; the company has been in the business of keeping gaming rigs cool for years now, and they're one of the most respected names in the sector. So what's the big fuss here? Well, Asetek has really gone above and beyond with this one: a new all-in-one liquid cooled prototype machine that's far, far more powerful than any other AIO we have seen in the past. To date, there aren't any pre-fabricated all-in-one PCs that utilize liquid cooling and high-end components. It's definitely a niche, and we suspect that has kept companies from entering this market... Read more...
Yesterday Lenovo introduced a bunch of new ThinkPad machines, with the new Edge, X100e and a few other machines headlining the show. Today, the company is making another push as CES gets ready to open its doors to the masses, with its IDEA-branded products getting a significant upgrade. Moreover, an all new product from Lenovo has been announced: its first smartbook ever. Let's get started with the IDEA lineup. The IdeaCentre A300 is the industry's thinnest all-in-one PC, measuring just 18.5mm thick and boasting an expansive 21.5" LED-backlit LCD panel. It runs Windows 7 and features an array of... The desktop may not be selling as well these days compared to the notebook, but the all-in-one PC sure has been keeping up with the times. More than ever, people are interested in acquiring PCs that handle the basics well and take up a small amount of space. Sony's VAIO PC lineup has been growing larger over the years, and while the standout products are almost always within the notebook category, the newest is an all-in-one PC. A stylish all-in-one PC, might we add. The VAIO L Touch HD PC/TV is obviously designed to be multifaceted. On one hand, it's a standard touch-screen PC; on the other, it's an HDTV. Granted, it's probably only suited for bedroom use at 24", but with a 1080p native resolution, even Blu-ray Discs can be played back as the director intended. The 1920x1080 panel comes standard, but the BD optical drive is an upgrade. Users hoping... Read more...

We have to confess--Acer's latest all-in-one PC certainly looks a lot like another of its machines announced back in April. But we suppose there are enough differences here to warrant a slightly new model name and a marketing approach aimed at business users. The company's Veriton Z280G is its second Veriton in the past week, though this one actually includes an LCD with the innards that make a PC tick. The AIO machine boasts an 18.5" widescreen display, an Intel Atom ultra-low-voltage CPU, a fanless design, Energy Star compliance, a 1366x768 resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a multi-format card... Advanced Micro Device's 'Neo' platform landed with a bang earlier this year, with a promise to counter Intel's Atom and even rival NVIDIA's own Ion platform. Turns out, most of that was just talk--or, at least that's how things look from the outside looking in. Since the dawn of 2009, we've seen countless netbooks and even notebooks arrive with Intel's Atom processor, but we've only seen a few counterparts with AMD's Neo tucked inside. In fact, HP's Pavilion dvz2 is the platform's flagship product, and needless to say, that device is less than mainstream in the grand scheme of things. Rather than... Read more...
If you're a PC maker, and you're not making any all-in-one PCs, you're clearly behind the times. Here lately, we've seen one after the other roll out from the likes of Dell, Asus and eMachines, and so it makes total sense to see yet another enter the ring courtesy of Averatec. The company's latest machine, which goes by D1005, is a 22" AIO computer designed by business or home users and college-bound students "who need a PC with full functionality while enjoying the benefits of a space-saving design." Unlike many AIOs that are largely underpowered Web surfing terminals, this rig is actually equipped... Read more...
Believe it or not, the machine you see pictured here really is an eMachines. It wasn't that long ago that eMachines was a name synonymous with lackluster, but no more; the company is refreshing its brand and producing far more stylish machines than before, with its latest all-in-one PC looking nearly as good as Apple's iconic iMac. Boasting a thin, sleek design that should spruce up most any pressboard computer desk, the newest member of the EZ series is labeled the EZ1601-01 and is available only in a Diamond Black hue that's accented with green LED lighting and silver trim. As eMachines puts... Read more...
Maybe we're suffering from delusions, but does MSI's newest all-in-one PC look eerily similar to Apple's previous line of Cinema Displays? (Hint: yes.) That small detail aside, the Wind Top AE1900 does look like a pretty stellar machine, particularly for those who value style over all else. The all white machine dons a glossy coat and features a 19-inch touch panel that encourages users to point their way around applications rather than just mouse around. RAM slot, 1.3- Super-Multi drive. Further specs include an Intel Atom 230 processor, GMA950 integrated graphics, a single SO-DIMMmegapixel webcam,... Read more...
Asus has just announced that its Eee Top ET1602, which was introduced at the tail end of last month, is finally shipping in North America. The Eee Top, like most other Eee machines, is designed with simplicity and cost effectiveness in mind. The all-in-one PC incorporates a 15.6-inch touchscreen display, an Intel Atom processor and an easy-to-grasp user interface that should make getting from app to app via finger inputs a breeze. The ET1602 also includes a built-in webcam, array microphone, wireless capabilities, an optional external DVD drive and an integrated carry handle for making the ten pound... If MSI's iMac-like Wind NetOn AP1900 was a bit too "standard fare" for your tastes, the aforementioned company has revealed a few touch-friendly machines at CeBIT that may be just what the innovation doctor ordered. The all new Wind Top line has been revealed, and at least initially, it will consist of three models: the AE1900, AE2200 and the AE2010. The line will span from 19" to 22" in terms of diagonal screen size, and much like HP's TouchSmart all-in-one PCs, these too posses all the internals you need for a full-fledged computing experience and allow you to control the mouse cursor and various...
