Ainol is one such company, producing a new dual-core Novo 7 Crystal tablet with a 1.5GHz processor. Not to be outdone, it's also offering Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), an OS that only a few Android tablets boast these days. Can't say this is the most flattering name for a company, but we suppose that's beside the point. Ainol has just launched the new NOVO7, which is described as the world's first Android 4.0 tablet. Hard to believe a company you've probably never heard is beating the big boys to the punch, but there's definitely an edge, speed wise, to being small and nimble. MIPS Technology is sharing in the joyous occasion, and given that it's just $100 plus shipping -- why not?
