Have you ever gotten fragged in your favorite game because your response time wasn't good enough to avoid enemy fire?  You swear you saw the shot coming, but just couldn't move your hand fast enough to get out of the way.  Perhaps some new technology in the works will help in these situations by linking the game action directly to the player's thoughts.  I know, it sounds like science fiction, but it's not.  If you don't want to take our word for it, take a look at this article from Mercury News. It's late on a Saturday night/early morning and things are quiet around the HH labs except for one dedicated (crazed perhaps?) Tech Editor.  A shot of the mayhem is below... We got a hold of a couple of Asus' soon to be available GeForce 7800GTXs - entitled the "Extreme N7800GTX Top".  These cards are clocked at 486MHz core and 1.35GHz on their GDDR3 memory, right out of the box.  Strap down a pair of them in conjunction with an Athlon 64 FX-57 and the benchmark run-times are cut down nearly in half in most cases.  We'll be following up with a full showcase of the... The Actiontec Wireless Ready Home Gateway SOHO Connectivity - Copper Need Not Apply By, Dave Altavilla November 5, 2001     SOHO (Small Office Home Office) products have certainly gotten sexier with the advent of Broadband ISP services brought to the home and small businesses.  No longer are we limited to the primitive functionality of a simple ethernet hub.  Now we have technologies like Routers, Gateways and Access Points, which were historically thought of as higher end "enterprise" solutions, making their way to suburbia and the average home user or small... Home Grown Networking and Modems from ActionTec Electronics http://www.actiontec.com   Not long ago, "Home Networking" was a segment of the PC and Peripheral Market that did not even exist. However along with the huge success of the Personal Computer and the Internet within the mainstream and "Family/SOHO" (Small Office/Home Office) space, came the Multi-PC Household. Soon, for today's average family, one PC was not enough. It was as if the "Great Telephone Line Battle" was raged again but this time on a different precious commodity, "Computer Time"....
