iBuyPower Unveils New Desktop Laser Engraving Service

Need to make your next pre-fab PC "your own?" Apple's made a killing off of engraving services for the iDevices, and Colorware PC has done likewise by allowing people to order some of today's hottest electronics in just about any color imaginable. And now, it's time for iBuyPower to follow suit, in a sense. The company has just announced a new laser engraving service, which allows buyers to customize any iBuyPower chassis with pretty much whatever they want.

Gamers can upload a custom graphic (B&W or greyscale) at up to 1000x1000 pixels, or choose from five designs directly from the company. It'll cost you, and that'll vary based on your choices, but here's the most important part: " Laser engraving is permanent and non-refundable, so make sure all content is correct before submitting your order." You've been warned!

Well, at least it gives it a sense of personality.

Now if only other gaming machine manufactures can get behind iBUYPOWER and include Laser Engraving as an option.

Maingear does it for their laptops taylor.

Cool, they should offer metal engraves as well that would be cool.

@fat78 I agree metal engraving is nice. Some nice metal engraving on an unpainted aluminum chassis would look sweet.

"Pretty cool, though they only seem to offer this with Window side panels. I hope that they can have the option for other parts of the case as well, like the front."

When it came to customization, the DIY method was what prevailed in terms of all you'r options but iBuyPower's customizable boutique with laser engraving just stepped up the playing field...

However I still think mainegear is the best computer boutique out there it terms of quality
