Zotac Unleashes Three New ZBOX Mini-PCs at CeBIT 2012

Is there any company more invested in the mini PC market than Zotac? Maybe there is and maybe there isn't, but either way, no one would argue that Zotac is one of the busiest bodies in the industry when it comes to Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs destined to find a place in your living room, whether its displayed prominently in your A/V rack or hidden out of sight behind your swank HDTV (or PC monitor, as it were). Adding to an already crowded lineup are three new models Zotac unveiled at CeBIT 2012.

Zotac ZBOX ID82 Plus

First up is the ZBOX ID82 Series. This is a standard ZBOX system with an Intel Core i3 2330M processor (2.2GHz, dual-core, 3MB cache), Intel HD Graphics 3000, HDMI & DVI-I outputs, a pair of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth technology, two DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 16GB of RAM, and a single SATA 6Gbps port that can accommodate 2.5-inch drives. The Plus model ships with a 320GB 5400 RPM hard drive and 2GB of DDR3 memory pre-installed, and as always, you'll need to bring your own OS.

Zotac ZBOX ID61 Plus

The second system is the ZBOX Nano ID61, a pint-sized system with an Intel Celeron 867 processor (1.3GHz, dual-core), Intel HD Graphics, HDMI & DisplayPort outputs, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a single eSATA port, integrated IR receiver, Bluetooth, a DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM port with support for up to 8GB of RAM, and a single 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbps port. Like the previous ZBOX, the Plus model comes with a 320GB 5400 RPM hard drive and 2GB of DDRe memory pre-installed.

Zotac ZBOX Blu-Ray AD05 Plus

Finally, there's the ZBOX Blu-ray AD05 Series, a sleek looking box with an AMD E-450 APU (1.65GHz, dual-core), AMD Radeon HD 6320 graphics, HDMI & DVI outputs, Blu-ray reader/DVD writer combo drive, two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, a single USB 2.0 port, eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port, two DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM slots, and 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbps port, and yes, a Plus model is available here as well.

All three systems also boast 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a bundled MCE-compatible remote with USB IR receiver. No word on price or availability.
