Microsoft, whose offer for Yahoo is now worth $41.2 billion, was preparing to escalate its takeover fight by starting a proxy contest next week. But in an effort to delay that move, Yahoo is considering several options, including a plan to postpone its annual meeting, people close to the company said on Tuesday.|
How about this, Yahoo merges with yahoo, then they commit a murder/suicide! I dislike both companies. |
Wow they turned down M-soft to merge with AOL holy crap, thats like buying a ticket on the titanic... ICE BERG AHEAD ! for yahoo. |
In this market, more than any other in the global economy, the law of the jungle is innovate or die... As we say here in the land of the Patriots and Boston Red Sox, na-nah, nah, nah, hey heyyy goodbye. |
Ugh, AOL. Yahoo, you can do better. Even Microsoft is better. |
Well, they don't want microsoft to take over...that much is obvious. Personally I agree with them on that one, microsoft would completely devour yahoo...Probably end up altering their features for the worst. |
Ditto....but c'mon AOL?!?!?! T'aint no worse/buggy/slow/horrendous customer support/adware-driven based software/applications out there! Someone tell yahoo to merge with say....ANYONE ELSE |
lol..You do have a point. AOL is falt out BAD....and should not be considered...But they are getting desparate >_<. |
Maybe Yahoo's CEO and Google's CEO should just indian-wrestle to see who should give the other majority share of the company stock..thats probably the most realistic solution in this case |
better than microsoft screwing up yahoo |
I don't think there would be much 'screwing up' as much as there would be yahoo maybe changing its ads and general appearance.....I am sure you'd see many more Xbox banners and such. |
