Woz Does Some Serious Backtracking on Android Quote

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is backtracking so quickly you have to wonder if Apple's other co-founder and current Apple CEO Steve Jobs gave him a call on his iPhone. Earlier quoted as saying that Android would eventually become the dominant platform, he told Engadget he was misquoted.

He told Engadget that "Almost every app that I have is better on the iPhone." However, despite that, he still confirmed that he did say Android would be dominant, in the end. He did add that "it can get greater market share and still be crappy." He also compared it to Windows, how Windows is dominant, but we "got a lot of junk from Windows."

That's the key to Wozniak's response: Android will win, but not because it's better. You can listen to the interview here.
