I like your idea Der! It is nice as is, but why not go all out!!! BTW: sush ~ my last cpu was a D820... not the fastest in the world, but coupled with a 7800GT I was able to play all my games at max settings. |
Atleast you have a dualcore =(...I'm on a 3.2 prescott single..lol. But that is a bit hot...You might want to reset your heatsink with some new thermal paste. Or is that how hot they get? my 3.2 prescott is at 52 load with this tuniq tower I have on it, but that's during cold days..During hot days I'm around 58-60. =(..They are indeed hotty buggers. |
That temperature is way too hot. Are you overclocking? I got creeped out when I overclocked my dads Core 2 Duo with the stock cooler and it went up to 80C. I just shut down the test after that. |
That tempature is definatly quiet warm. At that temp it should be near throttling the CPU. Surely this moster of a system under load will probably get into the mid 60's and low 70's quiet easily though. |

I won this same PSU at legitreviews.com and it doesn't dim my lights. Too bad I can't use it to it's full potential, I probably only use about 400W, while the other 600W slowly penetrate into my brain while I sleep at night. Great PSU by the way! Love the modular design. 2 days left! |

This site has nowhere near the large base of alot of other forums which is why i like it. Alot of other places you post something and get 10 responses saying the same exact thing and alot of argueing and ignorant people. A smaller community like here, you see the same people on everyday usually and get to know people better and it's much friendlier. Not to mention alot easier to keep track of all the new posts. Alot of posts on larger sites go unanswered for the fact that who hasd the time really to go through 200 new posts a day. For instance, AVS forum. I love it there but I only check on 1 to 2 sections daily for new posts because frankly I can't keep up with them all. Still we have slow times here where there's not awhole lot going on and other times it's hoppin. |
I'm shocked my how well the contest is increasing membership. But I can't blame them, who wouldn't explode with happiness the moment they realized they won the Skulltrail system? It was quite innactive in the months before this. But I agree, we shall see how many are here to stay in March.:p Time to get back to worshipping my HH case badges for hope of winning...:p |

Ah, just imagine the feeling that you would have when you wake up in the morning and you check your email and you see something that you have not seen yet. You open up the email, and it says that you got a PM at HotHardware.com. So you come here log on, and read the email and it says You have Won. Peti: Thanks man =P.....The reason I started actually started posting was indeed because of the contest, but I've been a long time visitor of hot harware, I just visit so many sites that I don't register for all the sites I visit. But definitely found a nice home here =P...I've pretty much dropped TH...tired of that forum, and have become less active at the others...and plan to keep it that way ^_^. But in regards to the contest...I'm under the impression that those who are active and genuinely contributing to the community are selected as a choice for the contest, than out of those choices someone is randomly selected...So it can go to anyone ^_^...I actually prefer it that way. Very fair =P...Although it does lower my chances >_<...rofl. but good luck to everyone! =D. Whoever wins, make sure you game it up for all of us =D. |
