Based on their input, we believe the best path forward is to encourage customers to take advantage of the best and most efficient options, eliminating the need to institute the fee at this time,” said Dan Mead, president and chief executive officer of Verizon Wireless.

Ridiculous. My mortgage company does the same garbage... Paying online is cheaper for them so I don't really understand why they want to charge customers for it. |

THIS just in: Verizon backs down! No $2 fee. Any company that wants to charge a fee or raise prices in this economy needs to take a cue from Bank Of America and Netflix! |
