Don't forget these are CABLE COMPANIES. CABLE COMPANIES move kinda slowly. Sorta like dinosaurs. So if you're holding your breath waiting for this, DON'T. Remember the Tivo interface on Comcast's DVRs? Remember the hopes for that? Remember a couple of years back when it came out in Boston? Remember how the early reviews said it really sucked. Remember how you still haven't heard about it rolling out in your town yet? By the time this comes to pass, we may all be streaming shows from ABC.com, NBC.com, TV.com, Hulu.com etc without issue and this will be something nobody pays any attention to. We'll have to see. BTW, as I'm typing this I'm watching Rachel Maddow on the Jimmy Fallon show from last night on my iPhone thru the m.nbc.com portal. Very nice. With the TV.com app (CBS), and m.nbc.com, we have only ABC and Fox until we've got most of the shows you might want on the iPhone as well... |
