Ubisoft Posts Cover Art for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Thanks to some leaked marketing materials, the cat was already out of the bag regarding Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag title, so why not confirm the game's existence? Without a valid answer to be found, Ubisoft went ahead and did just that by posting cover art for the next Assassin's Creed game.
Black Flag features a new pirate assassin and shifts the action to the Caribbean. According to Kotaku, which was already shown the new title by Ubisoft, Black Flag will mix open-ended ship-based exploration and combat with land-based adventures. All this will take place on several Caribbean islands.
Gamers will control Edward Kenway, father of Haytham Kenway from Assassin's Creed III. Other details are in short order, though not for long -- an official announcement is scheduled for Monday, March 4.
One thing we can expect, if Ubisoft holds true to its word, is that the PC version will be a high quality release.
