
Symantec finally issued a fix on Friday, but that's a long time to be without the Internet. Despite the fact it was a Symantec error, you can bet this hurts Solid Oak Software's rep amongst its customers.

Hi All, That's really sad, Symantec screws up but Solid Oaks reputation takes the hit. I've never been a fan of Symantecs products no matter how much they are touted as the "Industry Standard" by some Network Administrators. |

I'm a creature of habbit and often don't handle change well. With that being said I use Norton AV because it's what I know and has never failed me. This incident does sound pretty terrible and I would hope that Symantec will somehow communicate to Solid's customers that Solid should not be blamed! |
