Sprint customers will be able to get their hands on the new LG Optimus G smartphone starting November 11. Preorders for the phone will begin November 1. This new "superphone" features an advanced 13 megapixel camera as well as 4G LTE connectivity.
In addition to a high-resolution sensor, the Optimus G's camera comes with unique features such as Time Catch Shot which lets you pick the best photo from various shots that are captured before the shutter button is pressed. Another unique feature known as "cheese shutter" lets you take a photo by saying the word "cheese." The phone also offers a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
The Optimus G is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU quad-core processor. The phone utilizes a high-density 2,100 mAh battery which offers up to 13 hours of talk time. Other key specifications include a 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus display (1280 x 768) as well as 32 GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM, and Android 4.0.
LG Optimus G will be available for $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement.
