Sprint Offering Up To $650 To Switch Carriers And Pick Up A Samsung Galaxy S 5

It’s almost as if mobile carriers are throwing money at people to switch carriers these days. The latest overtures are from Sprint, which is offering up to $650 in incentives for those who switch their numbers from a competitor with the Framily Switching Bonus.

“For a limited time, new customers who bring their number to Sprint can receive up to $300 in credit for their current phone through Sprint Buyback and a Visa Prepaid Card worth up to $350 to cover switching fees”, reads the announcement.

Sprint Framily

Customers will get a chunk of cash for trading in their current phone right away (and Sprint hopes you’ll maybe snap up a Samsung Galaxy S5 while you’re at it), and after 10-12 weeks, you’ll get that prepaid Visa card to cover up to $350 in early termination fees or equipment installment balances.

The deal counts for both new and current customers who switch a number to Sprint. The Framily Switching Bonus is no doubt a good deal for some, but act fast--the promotion ends on May 8th.

It's easy to discount service that doesn't actually work properly (or indeed at all). Unless things have changed in the past twenty years or so, Sprint's service areas are tiny and even where you were in a service area, I could never get any kind of useful signal anyway.

^^ Same issue here as my phone service currently uses sprint towers. New service come the end of this month as it is terrible even in/near the city

People consider moving to tmobile because it is a cheap service that has gotten much much better. No one wants to switch to spring even if they paid all fees, offered an S5 or M8 for free, and that 10-12 week wait wasn't there because their service is horrible.
